Inks
made to measure

In addition to a wide selection of inks, we also offer primers applied as a base coat and varnishes/finishing coats applied over the print. Browse our catalogue by product type if you already know what you’re looking for, or simply check our material selection and choose the substrate you work with.

Primer · Ink · Varnish

Not just ink:
the complete system

Base layer

Primer

Applied as a base coat to prepare the substrate: guarantees ink adhesion even on challenging surfaces such as technical plastics, metal, or glass.

The color

Ink

The heart of the system: high-precision color formulated for your substrate, your machinery, and your actual operating conditions, with batch traceability.

Finish

Varnish

The protective topcoat applied over the print: shields the color from wear and tear while defining the final appearance — matte, gloss, or textured.

All three layers are formulated to work together. Tell us about your application and we will propose the complete system, not just the ink.

Digiti Signum®

DIGITI SIGNUM® offers the Indura ink line for outdoor applications and construction materials, where its high resistance to weather, rain, temperature, and radiation stands out [1].

Both the pigment and the vehicle have been developed to comply with the most demanding ISO tests, delivering excellent flexibility and shrinkage resistance in temperatures ranging from -20 ºC to +70 ºC [1]. Furthermore, these inks have undergone Total Solar Reflectance (TSR) testing by the AIDIMME Technology Institute [2], [3] and exceed RoHS regulations (restriction of hazardous substances), evaluated by laboratories such as Intertek and AIDIMME [4], [5].

What is the difference between primer, ink, and varnish? +
They are the three layers of the system: the primer is applied as a base to ensure adhesion to the substrate; the ink provides the color; and the varnish or topcoat protects the print and defines the final finish. We can formulate all three layers as a complete system for your application.
How do I choose the right ink from the reference chart? +
It depends on your substrate, outdoor durability demands, and the warranty level you require. The chart summarizes adhesion (ASTM D3359), color gamut warranty years, and UV resistance for each series. Tell us about your application and we will recommend the exact series or adapt it if needed.
What do the ASTM tests in the table mean? +
ASTM D3359 measures ink adhesion to the substrate (5B is the highest rating: no flaking or detachment). ASTM G154 is an accelerated weathering test using UV light: the indicated hours (+3000, +4500) represent the exposure time in the chamber that each series successfully passes.
How long does an ink last outdoors? +
Our outdoor series formulated with inorganic pigments reaches up to 10 years of UV resistance, validated by the IFO Institute according to QUALIDECO II standards with 8,000 hours of xenon arc testing and 4 years of real-world exposure in Florida. Series with organic pigments offer a wider color gamut with different guarantees, as shown in the reference chart.
Can I request a sample printed on my substrate? +
Yes. We prepare lab samples on your actual material so you can validate color, adhesion, and finish under your real operating conditions before scaling to production. It is the only reliable way to guarantee the outcome.
What if none of the inks in the chart fit my project? +
That is where the fun begins: custom formulation. We analyze your substrate, machinery, and usage conditions to develop a tailored ink engineered specifically for your challenge, complete with technical datasheets and batch-level traceability.
